The National Fund for Workforce Solutions is a growing national partnership of employers, workers, communities and philanthropy that strengthens local economies by implementing demand-driven strategies that create talent supply chains, advance workers into family-supporting careers, and improve workforce development systems.

The National Fund is an unprecedented initiative of national and local funders whose goal is the career advancement of low-wage workers using a model of substantial employer engagement to increase the potential for successful outcomes. Operating in more than 30 communities across the United States, the National Fund promotes the development of employer-led industry partnerships that guide educational and training investments in skills and credentials. The unique value of the National Fund rests on its support for local communities to organize and sustain regional funding collaboratives that invest in worker skills and their key regional industries. The collaboratives are catalysts for generating additional investments in creating sectoral workforce partnerships, training workers, and improving workforce practices.
