The mission of PACES is to create a more accessible and flexible employment and training system to move unemployed and underemployed workers into high-demand and high-skill careers into both the aviation and health care industries.

Funding Collaborative Accomplishments

Organizing workforce partnerships with aviation manufacturers, non-aviation/general manufacturers, and healthcare employers

Creating a customized Computerized Numerical Controls (CNC) machine training course to meet employers' needs while at the same time creating employment/career advancement opportunities for lower skilled manufacturing workers in the region

Supporting on site Certified Nursing Aid (CNA) training for an employer partner and coaching graduates into employment and additional training opportunities  

Policy advocacy work has led to stronger collaboration between Adult Basic Education providers (Workforce Investment Act Title II) and Local Workforce Investment Boards (Workforce Investment Act Title Ib) in Kansas, culminating in a state wide career pathways planning summit
